Looking from the farm at Gundaroo over towards the mountains, I noticed a vibrant patch of yellow gold. When I examined this in further detail, there was a large swathe of gold from the sun blazing on the land which I wanted to capture in this painting. I utilised oils to capture the vibrancy and texture . I hope you enjoy it as much as I did painting it .
